Jikai web page has been launched, well It’s not the final version more like an alpha/beta, there’s still a lot to do like putting the stock material online, arranging the transportation prices and other stuff. If you don’t know what I’m talking then here goes, Jikai is a small shop in Lisbon that deals anime merchandise in a wide variety, from manga, PVC figures, Gunpla and others plamos, magazines, art books, trading figures, figmas, revoltechs, gashapons, cosplay, that’s pretty much it.

“Finished” my strike a couple days ago, this is what I call a beta version, why?! Well because I didn’t put any decals on it and the reason is that I want to paint it some day after I try painting a smaller kit that I have here already assembled. Took a few pictures of him alone and with the grand slam, got lazy to take some more with the the shield and beam rifle and so here they are.

This is it as promised the last post of my trip to New York, it’s a month since I was there, time really does fly and I miss it so much there, you don’t have to think about anything in there just feel the joy of being there. One thing I forgot mentioning about the States, if you’re going there for the first time and you bring your cell phone be ready for a world of pain in recharging batteries because my cell phone was always searching for connection, why… well because in the States they barely use GSM which is the only technology we use in Europe and they use mostly CDMA, well depending on the company, each company uses its own that’s why cell phone technology there is behind the ones in Europe and Asia, while we (Europeans and Asians) receive the latest cell phones, there they get new ones which already exists here for almost a year or even more, and phones there with no contract are only for rich people especially the Nokia brand, I remember seeing there one that I offered my mother for 10 times the price I payed here.
Another thing I noticed in the States is that electronics is not that cheap, memory cards for cameras are really expensive even the ones of 2GB for my camera.
Anyway I promised pictures from the top of the Empire State Building and here they are ^_^

The last post I made was almost like…1 month ago 😦 sorry for the delay but I’ve been busy this last, sure I’m still on vacations with no school and such, but on vacations you also get busy. Couple days after I got back from NY I got an email from Blizzard Entertainment saying that I was selected to test the Beta of World of Warcraft future expansion, I immediately jump out of the couch and ran like crazy to my main computer to start downloading the game, yeah I am almost addicted to the game because I love Warcraft, Starcraft and Diablo universes. Other than playing like crazy I’ve been doing some “promo” pictures for figures and other things for a shop, I’ll be posting some of them here as well, also I’ve been working on my PG which is almost finished, only the beam rifle is left to do. This will be one of the last NY posts, only one left.
Going back to the trip to NY, on that same day we went to the Top of the Rock which is going to the top of the Rockefeller Tower, the view is simply breathtaking, I wanted to go there in late afternoon but our schedule didn’t allow it.
