Met the other day an exchange student at the university, her name was Chiyu Nakauchi. A very straight forward girl, full of life and a bit difficult to deal with ’cause she could easily get mad but that actually made her really cute in a certain way. Language was a bit tough at the beginning, her English was not so good and my Japanese wasnon-existent for most of the time but after a while everything was ok. She told that her dream was to sing, to be famous in the world of music, her passion for that dream was so big I introduced her to a couple girls I had met some years ago called Astram and Pixy (awkward names if you ask me) and they said they would take care of her. Couple weeks passed and I had no news of all the girls, I was getting worried until I got an invitation to a small concert which featured a young artist called Chua Churam (another weird name I thought) and well I gave it a go, since the invitation was from Astram and Pixy.
The singer was the most gorgeous girl I had ever seen, lovely voice, perfect body, so full of life she was. The concert was a success, the music was not so bad after all, on the way out I met Pixy and she said that the singer wanted to meet me, I began to shake and sulking a lot ’cause why would a “princess” like that want to meet me in the first place?! So I entered her chambers and her immediate response was to hug me and thank me for everything, I tried to push her away but couldn’t, it seemed some inhuman strength was holding me. She whispered in my ear: “to thank you I give you this gift…” and then everything blacked out. Upon wacking up both Chiyu and Astram were around me, cuddling me, I immediately got up and saw some differences in me, Astram said “Welcome to our world”, vampire fangs came out of her mouth and then she literally fused with Chiyu and the result was Chua Churam, then I noticed…I had also become a vampire.
Chua Churam is another great figure by Alter, probably the cutest I have in my collection. When I saw her announcement at Alter’s page I got the urge to get her, but with so many pre-orders and with the strong possibility that my supplier (Jikai) was not getting her, I was already settled with the thought that I wouldn’t be getting her. Months passed and one day I got message from my supplier saying that his supplier was going to get Chua Churam and that he was going to have 4 in stock and wanted to know if I wanted one (damn that son of a gun knows my weak spot) and so I said yes.
Besides of being the most beautiful figure I have in my collection she is also the most detailed, the way her dress is depicted is simply from another world.
Even the hair is amazing, also filled with life. Normally I choose my figures really carefully, I give it lots of thought because money doesn’t grow on trees with me and space is a major problem, need to start drawing the fricking cabinet but can only do that once the major big Hayate arrives which will most likely be on the end of this month, probably birthday present from myself to myself HAHAHAHA (oh pink pantsu 😛 )
Normally I take these type of pictures with either the figure of the gundam overlooking the town but with this one is almost impossible because she has some much detail on her the central aim must be made on her
And so Chua Churam waves us goodbye with her guitar, next up is Reinforce, still don’t know if I should wait for Hayate to do that photoshoot, I’ll think about it in the near future. Belela-san over and out.
Definitely a nice figure, just a tad small but still nice. This reminds me that I still haven’t do a photoshoot of her, already have an idea in my head just need to do it.
As mentioned above, it’s one heck of a sweet figure, even if it’s much more smaller than it’s being portrayed.
Shes one excellent figure with an amazing amount of details.I really love how you can get lost by simply looking at the frills of her dress. The only downside is her scale but that makes the grade of detail eve more astounding
i still regret not picking her up back when i was more careless with my spending ^^; chua is one of those figures whose outfit alone would pretty much justify the purchase for me.
wish i had some place outdoors to do shoots… the sky/city scape make for an excellent backdrop ^_^
Wonderful photoshoot you did of her!
The Belela-San is a Vampire?!
Chua Churam from Alter is visually interesting from all angles. At least with her scale, she’s not too bad with space given the pose.
@valho: hehe can’t wait to see it 🙂
@shin: actually size didn’t concerned me at all, some people complained about her size but I find it just right, a bit bigger and she would become a bit bulky
@blowfish: scale is not a problem, although it can be hard to do some close up shots and the lens won’t focus (which reminds me I need to get a macro portrait lens)
@meronpan: Alter is releasing again some figures like maid Saber and next March is Reinforce again. Perhaps Chua Churam will come out perhaps in the second quarter of 2009 or later.
@haru: thx ^_^
@rats: lol actually some friends call me a vampire because I am a bit more white than them (but I’ve been almost considered an arabe on US border once >.<) and I dress mostly in dark/black colors
very nice photo, love the figurine as well 🙂
I cancelled my order for this as well.. but she’s my buy list when I’m going to japan this year, I hope I can get her cheaper than RRP 😀
Hopefully i have garlics at hands , so i can throw them at you ^^
Chua is so sweet , i really need to buy her someday
Great pics like always 🙂
