Hi there, got back from New York on last Monday, been really tired lately the trip was exhausting, believe it or not walking 7 days non stop is tiring especially when you want to show everything to your friends. As promised I took a butt load of pictures, of course I won’t post all of them in one single post you’d be bored to death and it would take me at least one week to post every picture ๐ .
There were loads of people there, I’ve been to New York City four times and I’ve never seen so many people, most of them were tourists especially Europeans like Spanish, French, Italians, Nordics (includes German, Swedish, etc…), Asian tourists as well mostly Chinese which is surprising, also met some Japanese tourists which were a lot of fun talking to them, a man asked me to take a picture with his camera of him and his family, after asking where they were from I started talking with my inexistent Japanese and they suddenly started surrounding me very surprised and happy that I spoke Japanese (only a few words) it was really fun.
Ok onward with the first batch of pictures.
This was the plane that took us to New York from Lisbon, an Airbus 330, not as big as the Boeing 747 that I took 3 years ago but still really big and comfortable.
This was the first time that I saw small TVs on each seat’s back, we could choose whatever we wanted, music, news, movies, tv series, games you name it. I watched two episodes of Two Men and a Half, two episodes of CSI Miami, Kung Fu Panda (in Portuguese language, love these cartoon movies translated in Portuguese so funny) and played some games, no wonder the plane trip was so fast.
The menu
My hotel was one avenue away from Times Square, it was called the Milford Plaza Hotel, I didn’t took a picture of the room nor the hotel front, simply forgot ๐ but you can search for it on the web and you’ll see it’s pictures.
So what did I do after settling in?! I got out into the middle of Times Square ^_^ , although I was every day in there you never get tired of it and you always get that nostalgia thing and love every time you get there.
You can see how much people were there of course there were much more than this
Time Square by night, really beautiful
The next day I took my friends to the United Nations building on the first Avenue on 47th street
Oh look it’s the Chrysler building trying to hide himself ๐
This is a very beautiful part of the city
Another shot of the UN office building with my Country’s flag waving ^_^
This one was taken already inside the building, it was an offer to the UN made by China, it’s made out of six pieces of ivory. I have some pictures of the outside monuments but on another camera and forgot to upload them, perhaps because I have my friends on them but I’ll search if I have the monuments cleared, I’ll put them here tomorrow
Can’t remember who offered this one but it’s the only replica that exists, the real boat is only used on special ceremonies on that country
The central room, the other rooms were in renovation so we couldn’t see them
This was the our group’s tour guide of the building, try to guess what’s her nationality ^_^ . Yes she’s Japanese, I found out when she started speaking in English, that accent can’t fool anyone, she was really nice unfortunately I forgot her name ๐ฆ , in case you’re wondering that’s me on the left, this is the first time I show my face here on the blog ๐
The outside again, New York is filled with tall building but I think everyone knows that
Really like this picture, it looks like a building inside another but it’s simply a reflection
A dragon slayer, don’t know what it represents
Twin towers?!
You better run ๐ unless you want to be run over by crazy New Yorker drivers
Hello again Chrysler ๐
More buildings and yellow taxis, yellow taxis are everywhere in New York
The Rockefeller Center one of my favorite places, to bad there were so many people so I didn’t take much pictures on this day, I returned later on the end of the week to take night pictures and it was almost empty ๐ and it was where I met that Japanese group
Hey if you want to drink something healthy to kill the thirst just get into one these Chinese “roulettes” they make any sort of fruit juice and salad you want, really good
Guess who?! Oh… it’s the Empire State Building in the back ^_^
This is all for today, I got a lot more pictures so stay tunned for more as I treat them on Adobe Lightroom.
Oh by the way, JAM Project new album is out, it’s called Get Over the Border, it includes the tracks of Shuraki from the figure line and Rocks from the PS2 Super Robot Wars OGS, I already got mine, what are you waiting to get yours.
LoLz, using the laughing man thing was awsome. (Iknow your face…. I CAN STALK YOU)

Aaaahh Big Apple, would love to visit once. Times Square looks really futurist, like Akiba somehow (which one copied the other one? huhu)
Thanks for sharing such beautiful pictures! And nice to be able to put a face on a nickname now ^^
’bout JAM Project, I have ordered a copy, and their latest concert DVD as well which also include Shuraki song. All is on the way home ๐
Looks like you had perfect weather during your NYC stay. Made it look so pretty. There are some beautiful places there. I haven’t been back to Manhattan in 8 years or so. I have family outside of the city and to get there we have to drive through some of the more run-down sections of the city that I forgot how nice it can be in other areas. Thanks for the reminder. I really hope you enjoyed yourself.
New York is sure a nice city and too many places to see there. I would like to go there one day :).
It looks like a lot more crowded then downtown Toronto especially the traffic ^^
Youve shot some very pretty pictures. The Times Square looks really breathtaking and futuristic with all the lights.
