Finally “finished” (still missing some stuff) my MG RX-78-2 One Year War version, I knew it had loads of panel lines but I never imagined that they would give me so much work, well mostly because I used a technique that I saw in one of those Gunpla videos on youtube where some guy used the design knife to make the panel lines deeper before inking them, amazingly it does one hell of a job 😀 , unfortunately I only started doing that after I finished the torso so the panel lines on the torso and the shield are a bit thick.
This kit is really awesome, although the Gundam design is old (circa 1979) it still imposes some respect and I understand why the Japanese so much love this Gundam, if you keep looking at him and its design you easily fall in love with it and find it more impressive than most of the other Gundams, of course of all the Gundams I have the MG Zeta is still my favorite. It’s a very easy kit to build this RX-78-2 and cheap for a MG so I totally recommend it to those Gunpla and Gundam lovers.
The new couple ^^ RX-78-2 seems very happy with Mirei-san but it was hard to convince her.
It was not an easy task.
