My first digital camera dates back to the summer of 2002 and was the EPSON PhotoPC 2100Z, the quality was great at that time and it’s real test was yet to come when I first went to the USA in 2003 for 5 weeks so we took hundreds of pictures. The downside of this camera was the weight and the camera initialization, she came with a 8mb memory card so the camera was quite fast but before the trip we bought a 256mb memory card and it was a nightmare to begin taking pictures when we had already 200 photos, a pure nightmare.
My actual camera is the EPSON l-500v, acquired it perhaps in the summer of 2005 (I think) before heading in a trip to New York city (love that city). The camera has some downsides like exposure and stuff but besides that it takes some really gorgeous pictures, all of the pictures you’ve seen here taken by me were taken with this camera.
As you can see by this shot taken from the top of the Empire State Building in night mode, of course I had to put the camera on the edge of the balcony to take this shot.
Currently I’m aiming at the Canon EOS 400D with 10.1 megapixels, to those that normally visit Dannychoo page he takes hes greatest photos with the Canon EOS 350D also known as EOS Kiss Digital N in Japan, the 400D is the successor of that great camera and I can’t wait to get her but it seems I have to wait a bit longer (bummer).
