The figure of the year, one the best ever, I could go on and on about her but the truth speaks for itself, Saber Lily from GoodSmile Company is one of the best figures ever to come out to the shelves, even HobbyStock awarded her with the “Best Figure of 2009″. I’ve been in “figure world” since 2006 and of all the ones I own and seen there isn’t a single one that can beat this kind of sculpting and painting combo, of course I still love my Mirei from kotobukiya but Saber Lily is simply from another world. Was extremely lucky to get my hands on one, I had ordered her from Jikai but unfortunately because of the European suppliers that messed up things with the main releases of 2009 (BRS, Fate, Saber Lily and many others), Jikai was never able to get her, so I had to wait for a restock somewhere. Thankfully HobbySearch is a store that is almost always getting restocked, but we need to act extremely fast or else we won’t get what we want due to high demand, I did the same thing with Sheryl.
The photos were taken at different times of the day, early afternoon, and mid afternoon. Taking pictures in early morning always pose a problem, either I’m at school or sleeping, so no deal 
.
Since my camera doesn’t provide an accurate preview of what I take I have to guess the outcome, that’s why I take with and without flash and then choose. So its natural to appear pictures with flash. In this case (below) there was no flash, so I managed to get that beautiful yellow sunset colour.
One cool aspect about this figure is that we can equip her with the sword scabbard but also with another sword inside it as well, so we can get a dual wielding Saber .

Since I saw her preview pictures a picture video popped into my mind instantly, since animoto only does 30 seconds video (if you want more time you have to pay) I have to resort to more weak video makers that are easy to work with. Here I thought I had gotten tired of looking at pictures of GSC’s Saber Lily but your outdoor shoots are refreshing.
I think the outdoor setting is more fitting.

Ever grey?! Man since mid December it hasn’t “stopped” raining, this was the only day that I managed to take pictures, the next day was already cloudy. I hope this stops soon, the fields are completely full with water and its starting to fill up the mountain roads, if this keeps up I’ll need to train my driving skills to be as good as Takumi XD
