Here is the 2nd edition of Black and White pictures. From now on I’ll keep making these posts of black and white pictures that I take from figures. Tried it with mobile suits but it didn’t come out that well, will need to test various things on them.
Got a new lamp from Ikea (this one), its a very nice desk lamp, and to complement it also bought a 4200k light bulb and the color balance is very good. Will need to get another one for a second light source.
Perhaps one day I’ll compile all of my B&W pictures and print them into a book, but for now I’m content with the few ones I take from time to time.
Yesterday I received Sheryl Nome from MegaHouse, managed to get one from the quick re-stock of HobbySearch. Was really lucky to get one, because minutes after I made my order she got out of stock. So I’ll be making her photo shoot very soon.

Also have black and white pictures that i took from people but am not allowed to post them anywhere XD. So I’ll keep searching for “models” who are willing to have their pictures posted on my flickr page.

Nice stuff man! Really inspiring to see you trying stuff out especially since I’m kind of stuck in a rut now and don’t really feel the motivation to take pics these days. Do keep em photos coming!
I’m sorry for being off topic, I know this is too much to ask but do you like exchanging links? I already added you in my blog roll http://animemmorpgs.blogspot.com I hope you grant my request and be included in your sidebar… This is my way of promoting my website and I hope you don’t mind by lending me a hand… Anyway a big thanks^^
No problem at all. I’ll add you as well.
Hi. I’ve been wondering since i started viewing your blog. What kind of camera do you use? I forgot to ask you that time (when i saw your Musha it was all that i had in my head). So i want to make something like yours to show my Gunpla and etc. for comments to help me improve, since going always to Jikai to hear opinions start to make the wallet very light. Thanks and by the way what is your project in hands now.
Currently I use the Sony Alpha 100 with the lens sal24105 (24-105mm) and the Sigma 50mm DG Macro EX. You don’t really need a high end camera to photograph your gunpla or figures, just be creative, a good compact one will do the trick, of course a DSLR with the right lens (mostly macro) gives you more creative possibilities. I finished some days ago the HGUC Advanced Hazel but I didn’t made any panel lines or used the decals because this will be my first painting test (hope I don’t ruin it
). After this one I have none in mind to build cause I have some figures ordered at Jikai, but I would like to build more HGUC before moving back to MGs.
