This is it as promised the last post of my trip to New York, it’s a month since I was there, time really does fly and I miss it so much there, you don’t have to think about anything in there just feel the joy of being there. One thing I forgot mentioning about the States, if you’re going there for the first time and you bring your cell phone be ready for a world of pain in recharging batteries because my cell phone was always searching for connection, why… well because in the States they barely use GSM which is the only technology we use in Europe and they use mostly CDMA, well depending on the company, each company uses its own that’s why cell phone technology there is behind the ones in Europe and Asia, while we (Europeans and Asians) receive the latest cell phones, there they get new ones which already exists here for almost a year or even more, and phones there with no contract are only for rich people especially the Nokia brand, I remember seeing there one that I offered my mother for 10 times the price I payed here.
Another thing I noticed in the States is that electronics is not that cheap, memory cards for cameras are really expensive even the ones of 2GB for my camera.
Anyway I promised pictures from the top of the Empire State Building and here they are ^_^
Closer view
Taking photos up there was not easy and since I couldn’t use my tripod (it stayed at security) I had to put my camera on the safety grids to hold it steady but as always even with the super steady shot its really not easy
Downtown area, 7 years ago you could see the Twin Towers there
The Chrysler
The top of the radio tower of the Empire
The next day as promised we took the boat to Liberty Island aka Statue of Liberty place
Zooming out with my 24-105mm Sony lens to capture the lady
Going around her to to dock at the island, you can get nice pictures from this view
Already on the island ^^
This is one of my favorite pictures from the trip, learned this trick watching some video tutorials but it’s a really basic technique anyone can figure out
The view from the island is amazing, you must be lucky to get this kind of view because the first time I went there 5 years ago there was mist (most times there’s mist) and we could barely see the buildings which was really a shame
Hum why are these pictures so high? I can see the Empire, the Chrysler, the Rockefeller is there as well…which building could give this view? And why that black bar on the top of the picture…hehe guess what these last ones were taken from a helicopter ^_^
Hello again lady Liberty
Getting ready to land the chopper
And so it comes to an end these posts of New York trip, it was an amazing week, of course I went to more places but those are personal. There’s no one that goes to New York and doesn’t like it, if you don’t like it (if you went there) then you must really have bad taste because this city is amazing, if you’re here to search for history and stuff forget it, this is New York, for history come to Europe where there’s loads of history to see and appreciate. To say goodbye to New York I leave you with my favorite picture of all, it was not hard to choose I really like this picture hope you to as well so I’ll leaving it with the original size link of 10mp ^_^

Looking good man. I hope you had fun in my hometown, it does have a lot of things to do when you are bored. Hope you come back again sometime, next time if you do maybe hit me up on Dannychoo or something so we can chill.
