The last post I made was almost like…1 month ago
sorry for the delay but I’ve been busy this last, sure I’m still on vacations with no school and such, but on vacations you also get busy. Couple days after I got back from NY I got an email from Blizzard Entertainment saying that I was selected to test the Beta of World of Warcraft future expansion, I immediately jump out of the couch and ran like crazy to my main computer to start downloading the game, yeah I am almost addicted to the game because I love Warcraft, Starcraft and Diablo universes. Other than playing like crazy I’ve been doing some “promo” pictures for figures and other things for a shop, I’ll be posting some of them here as well, also I’ve been working on my PG which is almost finished, only the beam rifle is left to do. This will be one of the last NY posts, only one left.
Going back to the trip to NY, on that same day we went to the Top of the Rock which is going to the top of the Rockefeller Tower, the view is simply breathtaking, I wanted to go there in late afternoon but our schedule didn’t allow it.
You can see Central Park from the tower, hell you can even see it from Empire State
Again Times Square, this time in mid afternoon
Next morning breakfast at Europe Café
The Hard Rock café, only went there to shop, didn’t go to eat
This area of the Rockefeller Center is amazing, lot’s of people eat lunch here and so did we
The Central Park, I jumped some pictures, have loads of the Natural History Museum but decided not to put them in here or else I would take two more posts to end this
You simply gotta love Central Park
This “tunnel” of trees normally appears on movies if you remember any you know what to do
Yellow buildings on the south entrance of Central Park
The famous Apple store, you’d normally see crazy people lining up here to buy there iPhones (never got one because the price doesn’t justify the phone itself, it’s weak compared to some phones we have in Europe)
The next morning I got up really early, putted some gas on my legs and shoes and “ran” to Empire State Building and Flat Iron area, so that you know I had to cross more than 10 blocks to get from the hotel to the Empire and even further down to the Flat Iron building
On the way to the Empire we passed through Madison Square Garden, I used to be a real fan of Basketball but now not as much as I used to
Here is the Flat Iron building, rumor has it that it’s being negotiated with the Chinese the purchase of this building, I know that Chrysler building was bought by the Arabs for 500 million € or $ I don’t remember
Window cleaner workers, how come these guys are not afraid of this job
This guy is really big ^_^
Later that day at night we went to the top but those pictures are for another day ^^ most likely tomorrow…ok I’ll definitely put them here tomorrow to end this
After this we got the city tour bus to go to Battery Park to get the boat to the Statue of Liberty but our tickets only were for the “taxi boat” we wouldn’t drop off on the island so we did not go that day and went on the day after. This is a monument for the twin towers, this “ball” was in front of those towers and this is what they salvaged
Wall Street area, this is where the world economy is based, it’s here where everything went wrong one year ago when major companies decided to invest on the high risk credit and lost millions
Security officer of the area, there’s lots of them like this here on Wall Street, for safety measures I decided to censor his face

Ok, that’s it for today, tomorrow I’ll end this for good and go back to anime goodies, which reminds me I still have Kan’U on the box.

Wow these are great pitchers.
Hm I expected a mini twin tower setup but thats cool ^_^
I saw “The Happening” yesterday , i guess it’s exactly that tunnel of trees in the movies ^^
First time i ever see the Flat Iron building , it looks great !
And the best is of course the view from the tower , it’s just awesome !
Thanks for the great pics and don’t play too much warcraft , a friend of mine is playing like 15 hours a day , he even hardly sleep anymore ^^ :p
Nice pics, but you are missing the most import thing, how is the WOW beta?
@james: The pictures from the Empire State at night are breathtaking as well.
I don’t play WoW “that” much but if you’re a fan of the series and been playing the game since Warcraft 2 then you can’t miss WoW.
@wowgold: if you want to know more about the beta go to WoW forums. Of course still has flaws and stuff but besides that it’s becoming good with a lot more detail on the armors
