Kotona Elegance is one of the latest figures by Max Factory which is scheduled to be released by the end of February. This version of Kotona is based on a Tony Taka doujin called barbecued which is for adults only 
. I managed to pre-order her on December on HLJ now I only hope they live up to it since pre-orders opened again couple weeks back and closed last week. For me she’s already a candidate to Miss Figure of 2008 of course we (bloggers) never did a contest to choose the top figures of last year but for me Kotona is already a big candidate.

Nice! Gratz on managing to get a preorder in for her =) She looks really sweet alright and definitely as you said, is a contender for figure of 2008 (why don’t we ever hold any votes anyway? xD). *My vote goes to Luca Truelywaath of Ar Tonelico 2 tho :p
Had to hold back on preordering this figure since it seems to be I blown my budget yet again -_-” So after lots of deliberation, some figures had to be dropped in favor of others and I chose the ones that I really didn’t know much about to drop T_T Probably if she comes into the shop though, I’m gonna end up being a dead man standing -_-”

Kotona is definitely a great figure, but if I really buy it, I won’t be able to escape the incessant questionings from my mum…
Gratz with the preorder! I too passed up on her though, as I don’t really see the appeal about her to make her “Miss Figure of 2008″ I like the illustration much more.
What I really like about this figure is the chair she is sitting on. It looks very nice and matches the background very well.
Outside of that, the details on this prototype figure look very good. The clothing creases are in all the right places, and that outfit looks tight!
Nice figurine, I like that they use tony taka version for this. I didn’t pre-order her tho, maybe I’ll get her later sometime ^^
