Appleseed Saga Ex Machina is coming out on DVD and on High Definition on March 11, I’ve been waiting for this information since the movie was released on Japan back on October 2007. Appleseed was probably the movie that introduced me back to anime on summer of 2006 when I saw the movie on a Spanish channel and became completely fan of the saga. For those that never saw Appleseed you’re in for a bit of a shock since it’s not as the old anime of 1988, these new ones are in full CG, one of the best ever made.
To commemorate the movie release on DVD and High Definition Warner Brothers is hosting a trailer contest in which they’re offering some interesting prizes, so check this link if you are interested, the contest ends in February 7th.

Woah, as I told you before, I have no clue about Appleseed but it really looks sweet from the screenshots. If the story’s as good as it looks, I might have to give it a shot after all despite not much interest in the series prior to this lot of eye candy =)

The first Appleseed is one of the best CG films I have ever seen together with the Final Fantasy series. I also recently saw the Vexille 2077, I think it is by the same producers, … and it is just as good.
